Children are content to paddle in the shallows (as in the photo above). But God wants us to go into deeper waters and swim!

“When the ‘wine’ runs out “It is our duty to bring Jesus everything, including our emptiness, and ask for ‘Cana’ again.”

“A divine visit is a joy to be treasured whenever we are favoured with it. Have your hearts right with Him, and He will visit you often.”

Dostoevsky wrote: “I believe there is no one lovelier, deeper, more sympathetic and more perfect than Jesus.”

Heaven opened when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus and remained there, throughout his life. I need to be open to heaven too.

My life needs to reflect Christ and shine with a beauty not my own. Such a fragrance can be infectious.

As a follower of Jesus a glorious future awaits me in heaven. I want to look ahead to the wonder and everlasting joy of my eternal home.

We need to let the Holy Spirit into the dry and barren places in our lives and in our world. He comes to do God’s ‘New Thing’ in and through us.
